Root canals and their associated pulp chamber are the physical hollows within a tooth that are naturally inhabited by nerve tissue, blood vessels, and other cellular entities. Together, these items constitute dental pulp.
Root canal treatment is the process of removing the infected, injured, or dead pulp from a tooth.

Each root canal therapy treatment appointment begins with an examination of the infected area. You can expect to have both a checkup as well as an X-ray to determine the full extent of the infection. We want to make sure we see the full picture before getting your pearly whites back into tip-top shape!
To prep for the procedure and make you more comfortable we provide a local anesthetic, numbing the area.
The treatment we provide is to open the infected area, remove the damaged nerve and pulp tissue. Once the area has been cleaned, a filling and crown will be applied to the tooth to seal the area and restore the tooth to its full working condition.
