What are dentures?
Dentures are a way to restore a badly damaged tooth or replace a lost tooth.
Conventional dentures are removable (removable partial denture or complete denture). However, there are many denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants (fixed prosthodontics).

Signs You Need Dentures
One or more missing or damaged teeth
Chronic tooth pain
Loose or moving teeth
Swelling and/or tenderness of the gums
What Can I Expect During My Appointment?
Checkup
During your first appointment, the dentist will give you a normal checkup and get your medical history. In this appointment, we take the utmost care to understand your needs and what will suit your situation best. At this point an impression of your teeth is taken for the design process.

Fitting Your Dentures
The second visit will determine the length of the new teeth based on each individual patient’s mouth. We want to make sure that the bite is going to feel as natural as possible and that there is no clicking when the patient talks or chews.
Trying Them On
During this appointment, the dentures are nearly complete! We want you to try the dentures with the final teeth to ensure the fit is just right. Final measurements are made and then adjustments made at the lab.
Final Follow Up
Finally, you will have an appointment where the dentures will be given to you!
