Dr. Robert J. Railton

Dr. Railton is a dental surgeon and co-owner of the Upper Canada Dental Centre located in the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, Ontario. He has been practicing there since 1991. Dr. Railton designed the “state of the art” dental facility with maximum efficiency and patient comfort in mind. He remains dedicated to constantly updating his skills, techniques and equipment through on-going education and international conferences.

Dr. Railton is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the world renowned New York University School of Dentistry. He also completed a Dental Residency Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto where he participated in extensive medical and dental training which helped hone his surgical skills and expand his medical/dental knowledge.

Dr. Railton is a 3rd generation surgeon and is proud to continue his family’s tradition of helping and healing patients. With his wealth of experience and training, Dr. Railton strives to stay on the cutting edge of dental treatment and technology and devotes much of his time towards cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Railton is an official “Preferred Provider” of Invisalign™–the no-wire teeth straightening system. The latest addition to his “high tech” practice is the Cerec Cad/Cam system. This system allows him to fabricate all ceramic restorations (crowns, fillings, onlays, etc.) in the office, in a single appointment. These restorations are biocompatible, display enamel-like mechanical properties and make it possible to conserve the natural tooth tissue. This makes for a more pleasant experience for the patient.
